Today was a cool experience because we attended a large tech convention featuring some of the most advanced technology companies in the world. One of the highlights was visiting Nvidia’s booth, which looked more like a futuristic space station than a typical convention setup. It completely stood out from the rest which was their goal so it would attract more people to the booth. The design, vibrant lighting, and high-tech feel was everywhere. At the Nvidia exhibit, we got to learn about their GPU powerhouse designed specifically for AI workloads. They also showcased innovations around the future of computing with CXL 2.0, and I was fascinated by their OCP rack built for GPU-centric tasks. One of the coolest things we saw was an immersion tank cooling solution, where the hardware is actually submerged in liquid to keep it cool during high-performance tasks. I had never seen anything like it before. I’m wondering if there will eventually be a time when heat isn’t expelled from high powered technology or if they could use the heat that is created as energy. The biggest shock to me came when the representative who was guiding us through the booth casually mentioned that one of their products costs $5 million USD. I think my jaw actually dropped. It really shows the scale of investment and innovation in the AI and computing industries. We also got a look at Gigapod and AI TOP, two powerful systems that are reshaping how large-scale AI processing is handled. The whole event was filled with energy, ideas, and technology that felt like it was from the future. I even bought some keyboard letter chips. It was such a valuable learning experience and made me even more excited about the potential of AI and advanced computing.

Overall, this event highlighted just how quickly technology is advancing and how critical constant innovation is in meeting the challenges of tomorrow. It deepened my interest in areas like artificial intelligence, system architecture, and energy-efficient computing. What stood out to me the most was the way creativity and engineering intersect from the futuristic design of the booths to the complex infrastructure behind high-performance systems, everything reflected a blend of imagination and technical precision. It gave me a clearer sense of the scale and direction of the tech industry and left me inspired and also more confident that this is a field I want to explore further and contribute to in the future.
