Day 6 of our trip to Taiwan was a good middle ground in terms of meeting our learning goals. We began our day by visiting a paper printing company owned by Professor Chen’s brother-in-law. It was amusing to see these two interact with each other in a professional setting, and the tour was very informative, so I thoroughly enjoyed this visit. We then went to a temple where people say all your questions about love will be answered truthfully. We got to tour around a bunch of smaller shops where I picked up some souvenirs to bring home. A lot of free time was given today, which I used to explore the streets of Taipei and walk along the big river in Taipei that leads to the ocean. Overall, I enjoyed the variety of activities completed today.
