While I have been a fan of the cultural impact and the religious significance of the country, the technology side has always been a favorite for me as I have always loved computers and gaming since I was a kid. The tech convention we went to exemplified how important Taiwan actually is on the global scale.

We went to convention with a member of Gigbyte, a computer manufacturing company that, with the help of Nvidia, work on the production and creation of computer chips. They talked about the what goes on in the process for making computer softwares and their future, like the current liquid cooling solutions. Afterwards, we were allowed to explore the rest of the convention by ourselves, in which Joelle and I decided to explore the upper floors for the computer accessories and video game apparel. We even applied into a video game giveaway but sadly we came in last place for the potential prize.

For dinner, most of us decided to go to shrimp fishing with Profesor Chen and Young. While I have gone fishing before in the past, I had never been to an area like this for something like fishing. It was like a small aquarium area for the shrimp and we used other shrimp bait to catch them. Sadly, I was not able to catch any shrimp but the experience of it was worth the lack of food.
For my ACTUAL dinner, I decided to go to the bistro with Eileen, Amma, and Ayden. Overall, it was wonderful getting to explore the tech side of Taiwan as it envigored my love for technology, computers and gaming.
