Day 3

Today, we shifted from analyzing the types of business in Taiwan to learning more about Taiwanese religion. We started our day by visiting a temple that blends Daoist and Buddhist customs in a temple constructed during the Japanese colonial period. I took a Buddhist religion course with one of the leaders on this trip, Professor Young. So I found seeing the things I learned in his real-life class particularly interesting. Day 2

Day 2 of Taiwan felt a lot more impactful than the first day. We started our day very excitedly by going to the A&T building. This building functions like an embassy for people wishing to do business overseas, from America to Taiwan and vice versa. We learned a lot about the crucial relationship between America and Taiwan in a very engaging way, understanding how much both countries benefit from helping one another. Day 1

Day 1 in Taiwan was a very packed and jam-packed day for the whole group. right after leaving the airport we did a very brief tour of Taipei and I really enjoyed seeing the city and how much there is to do here. I love the atmosphere of being in a urban environment along with the great public transport. I hope to be able to indulge in all the opportunities I come across while I am here in Taiwan.
