To assist you in exploring Taipei during your free time, I have provided several examples below to give you quick references.


Xining Morning Market (西寧市場).

No. 4, Xining Rd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan 108. Tuesday to Sunday, 3 AM – 1 PM. Closed on Mondays. Explores a traditional Taiwanese daytime (wet) market, showcasing fresh produce, meats, and local snacks.

Liu Shandong Beef Noodles 劉山東牛肉麵

(https://goo.gl/maps/LcecTVDPrpZ6dcZ99) Price: 160 TWD ($5.28) per bowl Beef noodles are perhaps the single most famous of all Taiwanese foods, there are few things better than a giant bowl of thick noodles with a soothing beef bone broth, and Taiwan does it well.


Jin Da Lu Rou Fan 今大魯肉飯

(https://goo.gl/maps/3FvJook9MsF2mWbU6) Everyday 6:30 AM – 9 PM. It is distinguished by its rich, savory flavor, achieved through a long-simmered sauce that permeates the tender pork, celebrated for its exceptional braised pork rice (lu rou fan).


A Cai Milkfish Belly (阿財虱目魚肚)

No. 53, Neijiang St, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan 108. Everyday 9:30 pm to 4:30 am. Braised Milkfish Belly: A tender and flavorful dish, often praised for its rich taste and minimal bones.


Ximen Noodle 西門麵店

No. 41號, Neijiang St, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan 108. Mostly 24 hrs, except Sunday & Monday with partial hours. The establishment is a local eatery offering traditional Taiwanese noodle dishes. The interior has a casual and authentic atmosphere.


Fong Da Coffee 蜂大咖啡

No. 42號, Chengdu Rd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan 108. 8 AM -10 PM. Established in 1956, it is recognized as one of Taipei’s original coffee shops. The café offers a selection of traditional pastries, such as peanut and mung bean cakes. It roasts its own beans in-house.


Ningxia Night Market 寧夏夜市

No. 58號, Ningxia Rd, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan 103. 5-11:30 PM. Spanning approximately 400 meters along Ningxia Road, the market is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and a rich array of traditional Taiwanese street foods.
